Candidate Forum – 91st House Legislative District
October 29, 2009 7 – 9 pm
Jones Magnet Middle School Auditorium
1819 Nickerson Boulevard
Hampton, VA 23663
This is an opportunity for supporters of a Fort Monroe National Park and Buckroe Beach residents to directly focus the Candidates on these issues.
Public attendees will be given the opportunity to write down questions for the Candidates (hopefully questions for all three to answer). The questions will be sorted, and a Moderator will ask each Candidate to answer. The Candidates will be given the opportunity to make statements at the beginning and end of the Forum.
- Unfortunately the Sheriff Candidates could not be scheduled for the debate due to the short timeframe.

- As many 91st District residents as possible, to include Buckroe residents , should come to the Forum to show your interest in how the Candidates (if elected) will help Buckroe and Fort Monroe. We hope one or more good questions will come from the public.
- Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the Forum. Hopefully it will help to induce interaction between the Candidates and attendees after the official Forum ends.
Thank you also for your help in getting the word out about the forum. See you on Thursday evening.
A House committee OK'd the legislation, which now goes to the full House. A similar bill was derailed by a Senate committee last year.
